CZ 712 G2/3-Gun Shotty ...?

I hear good things and a few bad on the CZ long guns. Some of the rifles are superb. The CZ shotguns I have seen in the O/U group function well, but are not in the class with the Beretta/Browning shotguns I own and have used. I would try and find out who actually makes the shotgun you are looking at buying. That can tell you a lot about what you might expect in quality. I can't say enough good about the CZ pistols.

BTW... You might get better response by not calling them "shotties". Just an observation.

Don't know about their "tactical" guns, but I did just buy a 720 "youth" or reduced length 20GA for my boy who turned 13 today.

We just finished shooting some pigeons out back with it a couple hrs ago.

So initial impressions: 50 rds, zero issues. Finish is "OK", wood is actually pretty nice for it's price-point. Internally it's a little rough, tool marks etc, but it did not interfere with functioning.

Overall for it's price, I'm favorably impressed, and that's coming from a guy that owns 14 shotguns and also not a fan of the "shottie" thing.

Looks suspiciously like my 3 gun boom stick- American made (and supported) mossberg 930 Jm pro, in the same price range.
