Which would you choose for a home defense, target shooting, & all around farm gun?

The Mossberg 930 is well know to handle anything thrown at it as soon as broken in. That would be my first pick any day. Plus it's American, which is nice.

I went thru this excersize earlier this year when shopping for an affordable 3 gun shotty. I shot a friends CZ12 and another friends Moss 930. After that and reading lots of reviews, i went with the 930. It is a fine weapon. It is accurate with slugs, patterns perfect, shoots anything i feed it, easy to maintain, lots of after market accessories, etc. I shot it at the AAC shoot last summer. They had us run our shotties very hard. It never hiccuped. I have used it in a match every month since i bought it in April (i think) with out issue.

Mine did not need any break in. Nor has any of the others i've seen at the range.

With the 930 you have the option of purchasing their home security/field combo. It comes with the shorter HS barrel, but also a 28" barrel ready for a choke.

I love my 930. I am also a CZ fan, but their shotguns are not actually built by them.

The CZ's are nice guns. I have a 912. There is absolutely ZERO after market, so accessories other than universal ones are out of the question.
