Replaced grips.

No recoil spring changes, no mag brake changes, (mags drop free in my PO1.), oh, wait forgot one thing. Brass grip screws.

Wife added an extended mag, Hakan grips, and an HBE holster to her 9mm RAMI.

Had a JackAsh guide rod on PCR I just had to sell. Couldn't tell any differance, still have another JackAsh floating around here somewhere, will trade for a nice IWB rig for a 4" Smith Model 10.

Other than that, only mods were to see if I could wear out a CZ by shooting it as much as possible. So far, still going strong.:)

I did nothing to mine, but who ever owned it before did some wonderful things. There's no hammer camming, the trigger is amazingly smooth, and the break is better than it is on any of my rifles. The DA pull is still firm, but smooth all the way to the break and in SA, although it has more take up than I like, it is so light I don't mind putting up with it.

Mr. fire: I suggest puting a round in the chamber and either: lowering the hammer and fire the first round double action, OR leave it cocked / single action with the safety on.

To draw and shoot in either competition or SD you don't want to have to rack the slide.

The new 9mm CZ75B benefits from: decreasing the hammer spring from 20# down to 15#, polishing the feed ramp, polishing the battery surface and lightly beveling the face that feeds the bullet, and changing to an Xtra power extractor spring.

If you prefer to shoot 147gr 9mm bullets then a small amount of metal removal and polishing is needed on the slide stop. The stock slide stop can hit the 147gr gr bullets when cycling the slide.

Their are other surfaces that require a little more nerve/skill/knowledge that benefit greatly from polishing.

I recommend the CZ Forum for a complete "HOW-TO" with good pics for all of these things and more--look in the gunsmithing section at the top..

On my PCR compact, I put thin wood grips on it to reduce the trigger reach over the stock palm swell rubber grips, and rubber covered, slightly extended floorplates on the magazines to stop the stock thin sheet metal ones from gouging my little finger. I would not mind smoothing the SA trigger, but this would require compromising its very positive hammer engagement, so I will probably leave this alone. Night sights would also be nice. Putting a rear night sight in place of the standard rear sight would leave a gap between the sight and the slide, but I can have the stock rear sight drilled for inserts, or just put a front night sight on it. Lack of money precludes this at this time.

CZ Champion Hammer
EGW Hard Sear
Single Action Trigger

2lb trigger. Very short. I would say it's easily on par with a very nice 1911 trigger.

Currently has CZ comp sights on it.
