I read that the CZ 75 PO-7 Duty has a dedicated "finger rest" to keep your finger off the trigger. However, I don't see this gun in the US catalog. Is it available only to Europeans?
I just did a quiick search and found this magazine review. The 'rest' is basically just a rough patch on the side of the frame, and this reviewer said it seemed more cosmetic than functional, and I tend to agree. https://www.shootingillustrated.com/articles/2012/2/6/cz-usa-p-07-duty/
The CZ75 P-07 Duty has been replaced by an updated version simply called "CZ P-07." It has a different slide finish, the edges and corners more rounded, a reshaped trigger and interchangeable grips. http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-p-07-9mm-black-polymer-interchangeable-back-straps-15-rd-mags/ It still has the feature you're talking about, a stippled area on the frame above and in front of the trigger. It is still flat, more of an indexing point than an actual finger rest.
