I'm a southpaw and was just wondering if I'm gonna have any issues before I buy. I don't currently own any semi-autos because its so darn embarassing to eject a mag on the line. I'm sure liking the looks and price of these though. Thanks, X

My CZ82 seems ambi to me. Grip panels are ambi and it has the ambi mag release.

The only single sided control, on the left, is the slide release. Otherwise one of the more ambidexterous guns around. My lefty son likes it.

i'm lefty, but shoot righty for some reason :uhoh:

however, i have played around shooting my CZ-82 left handed and had no issues ejecting the mags, as the mag release is ambidextrous.

Ok, I've talked myself into one. Another question - does it shoot Brown Bear ok? I've heard of lacquer issues with some guns. Thanks, X

i have no clue. i know you're not supposed to shoot lead out of them, but i shoot wolf regularly without issues

if it ruins it, meh, whatever, i'll buy another for $200 and not shoot lead out of it  cheap guns ftw.

I've shot some Brown bear out of mine, doesn't seem to have any problems with any type of ammo. I shot up a bunch of older Norinco steel cased stuff and it really did well with it. I am a lefty and this is one of the most user friendly ambi pistols I have encountered. Don't be surprised when you look down the barrel, there won't be any rifling, it almost looks like a smooth barrel ha, ha.

does it shoot Brown Bear ok?

I've shot every form of commie ammo I could find and it has all worked fine. I can't see any residue left on the chamber, it still looks like shiny steel. Other than the stink and the extra clean up, it is good ammo.

i know you're not supposed to shoot lead out of them

I disagree. Can you post an authoratative source for this statement. I've looked and can't find one. If you have one, please share it.
