Hi, New here, and wondering if and where I might be able to get nite sites for my CZ-75 Compact 9mm. Its a great semi auto and would be greater if I could have night sites for home defense. Thanks in advance.

The Compact has the same dovetail as other CZs based on the 75 model, and depending on what you want, there are several available: PT sights, Trijicon (quit making them for a while, and then started again), Meprolights, and XS Sights. I have Meprolights on my Compact, but a set of PTs on a SA. (PT had some quality issues a while back, but the company has changed hands several times, and they seem to be doing much better, now.)

Note: the CZ front dovetail is lengthwise, so not just any sight can be made to work -- it takes CZ specific sights on the front.

Whatever you get, look for some that have a white ring around the tritium inserts.

The XS sights are particularly fast (to pick up, etc.) -- and you have the option of a large or small front sight when you order. You can also just go for the front sight -- which is the most important part.

Ive heard the Compact and the 83 series have the same dovetail, and its different than the fullsize gun. It wouldnt make sense.....a quick call to Mike @ CZUSA would clear it up.
Trijicon are my first choice for nights, but XS are good for quick acquisition.
Look around and good luck............Shoot well.

The Compact has the same dovetail as the other 75B-based guns. I don't know about the 83.

(Note: some of the other 75Bs have areas milled from the rib in front of or behind the sight, though, so you've got to be careful in selecting a replacement sight, if there's any "overhang" in the sight selected.)

I moved some Meprolights from a 75B to my 75B Compact, and later installed some Novak-like PTs, with the Meps moved onto another CZ.
