I do have poor eyesight - but I can clearly see that ch47gunner has posted a pic with a Kadet next to his P-01. So - dumb question time - does the Kadet fit and function on the P-01? Thanks to this thread - and the fact that I have only one CZ (full size de-cocker) - I am definitely going to get a P-01!! Thanks to all for the nice pictures and info!!

I just swapped my full size slide on to my alloy compact frame, and vice versa, so the platform does interchange.

JDGray - Thanks and good news! I've never handled a Kadet kit but I think I remember that they're all-steel - unlike so many others using aluminum or pot metal. I keep hoarding .22LR so I need something to shoot it in ... ... actually my "hoard" is pretty small by hoarder's standards.

19-3ben, I'll be nice and not slam the thread. Just some recent stuff...

We'll start with something unusual - the wife's P-01 with one-of pink grips and custom stainless steel base plate. Rounds are pink powder coated Lee 124 grain home cast.

Those "The Northern Girl" grips are just flat pretty. Is that inlayed silver wire?

armoredman - Thank-you for the update - your video is great and very professionally done! I haven't started looking for a Kadet yet - but I guess I'll start with Midway. Noticed with interest that you said Kadet Kit "2" - I have to assume that this is what's offered nowadays. I still don't have a P-01 - but I can use it on my BD in the meantime. The inlays are gold wire, it just doesn't show the color very well in that picture.
