I’m usually pretty conventional when it comes to my rifles. I have quite a few friends that have made the switch to chassis rifles for deer hunting out here in Oklahoma. Me? I’m still hunting with one of my Mausers. Why argue with success right? I recently let a friend of mine, whom owns a gun shop, talk me into one of the CZ Scorpion 9MM carbines. Went ahead and took his advice and let him put a Holosun holographic sight on my carbine. He says it’s amazingly accurate...Me: “Well maybe...we’ll see.” Took it to the range this morning. OMG!!! 1” groups at 50 yards. 2” groups at 100 yards, and from a pistol caliber. Dead on the money. No additional sight adjustment necessary. It shoots anything I put in it. Hollow points, ball, truncated cone. It doesn’t care. Not one hiccup. On top of that the darn thing field strips in 5 seconds. Lock the bolt back. Push the retaining pin in front of the trigger group out & pull down to detach the trigger group. Reach in the receiver release the blow-back bolt and drop it out the bottom of the receiver...done. Who ever designed this carbine knew their stuff. Unreal!!!
