CZ vs. Savage!

CZ's have a much smoother action a better trigger and are more attractive. But if none of that concerns you go with the savage they still shoot good. They just look like some kind of farm implement ( I know mine does).

If you think about it, a good many rifles have been, and still are, farm equipment.

Regarding my old Savage Model 340 in .30-30, it's a working gun plain and simple, but that model is noted for accuracy most times I hear or read of it. Mine shoots quite well.

Regarding my much newer Model 11GL in .243Winchester, it's also a working gun. But I like it. The AccuTrigger adjusted down to 2.5-3lbs feels real nice to me. The stock could be purtier but it fits me and I'm not worried too aweful much if it gets skint... I'd eventually just refinish it and go on. It's also quite accurate even with the cheap-o sights on the barrel.
