CZ75 recoil spring?

Neither of the full length aftermarket springs that I tried would allow the slide to be pulled back once installed. I never tried actually firing the gun in that condition. Didn't seem like a good idea to me.

I recently purchased a Canik S-120, CZ75B clone and after installing a Wolff 14 lb recoil spring, experienced the same binding issue as illustrated in the bottom photo on page 1 of this topic. What I did, was install the slide as far as possible on the frame and then used my Glock tool (basically a punch) and pushed downward on the top of the spring, which allowed me to then get the slide on the rest of the way. After doing this, it has not had the binding issue.
