CZ75B best mags

Mine have never given me any issues in my 75 Compact. They look identical to the CZ mags that it wouldn't surprise me if Mec-Gar makes the CZ magazines.

Mec Gars have worked perfectly for me as well. I have had problems with the factory 18 round magazines.

Thanks for the info, I have used them in other guns but somewhere it seems like I had heard that they did not work well with CZs. I am glad to hear different.

MecGar works great in my 3 CZs. Would never pay 2x more for the OEM ones.

Back when my brother bought his CZ75 they were not imported into the U.S. Factory magazines were totally non-existent but Tanfoglio mags for the TZ75 worked fine in the gun. I believe at the time Mec-Gar made the mags for Tanfoglio.

CZ once made it's own mags, and sometimes sub-contracted out to Pro-Mag and others when they got behind or needed them. Then CZ switched to Mec-Gar.

(I see in a response above that they are now making their own magazines again. I had not heard that.)

I remember ordering a couple of factory mags from CDNN some years ago, and when they cam in, in CZ wrappings, when I turned package label card (showing name, model etc.,) I saw that they were made by Pro-Mag. They were identical to some 10-round CZ had and they were never a problem. I've always avoided Pro-Mags for full-size CZs, as their springs seemed to not hold up well. Their Compact 75B mags were trouble free, however, and for a number of years, they were the "compact CZ" mags of choice, especially during the hi-cap mag ban period. (The 10-round .40 CZ-75b compact mags, a gun that CZ never really built, were outstanding, and held 14 9mm rounds.)

Mec-Gar has also been making mags for CZ models for years as an after-market alternative, and you can't go wrong with them. You can sometimes find the Mec-Gar mags selling for almost half the price of a CZ factory magazine.

My Mecgar brand mags are indistinguishable from my CZ supplied mags. I am convinced they were made in the same factory.

Mec-Gar mags suck! Especially in CZ pistols!

Actually mine have ran flawless and look/feel identical to the OEM mags from CZ. I just wanted to be different.

Every Mec-Gar mag I've ever used has functioned flawlessly as long as I can remember.

I use only mec-gar on cz/beretta/bhp never an issue

As do I with my P226. Personally Sig uses that crappy phosphate coating on a lot of their mags and it looks terrible. Mec-Gar uses that anti-friction coating which is far more durable and looks a lot nicer.

With no intention to jack the op post, nice grips sr. .
Are they thinner than the original plastics one. I need a set for CZ 85 combat that happly adopted.

CZ now makes their own magazines, but for a long time MecGar was the OEM supplier.

I have 2 MecGar branded mags for my 75B a 16 rounder and a 17 rounder and these are both excellent. The 16 round MecGar branded mag is identical to my 2 OEM CZ MAGS.
