No I wont post pics of mine , but i will ask why all the " Daily carry " stuff in all nearly every thread looks new ? Mine frankly looks like it was dragged behind the pool bus for the reporters who critiqued Sarah Palin .

It's called good leather and stainless steel. Both help to keep a pistol looking like new. I've carried that Ed Brown for years and it has very little wear to show for it.

Sorry for the crappy picture.

The Glock 22 on top probably 99 percent of the time in a Galco summer comfort holster. I carry it mostly because my dept will back me if I use my duty weapon off duty. Mags are loaded with 180 grain HSTs.

When I just cant conceal the Glock its the Ruger SP101 with Federal Hydrashocks 110 grain .38s (its the wifes gun).

Also have keys, phone and a Benchmade 10200 folder.

When my permit comes through.

Winter
P-95

Summer
Thunder .380

The Kahr CW9 is for T-shirt weather. I carry 7+1 with an 8 round spare.
( I need a holster upgrade. )

The CZ RAMI (9mm) is for coat weather. I carry 10+1 with a 14 round spare.

Both need night sights.......

This is my daily carry. Colt Delta Elite in a Bruce Nelson Summer Special. The magazine is loaded with Black Talon 200gr rounds.

Mello, did you seriously stock up on Black Talon ammo or is that the same carry ammo you've had for the last decade?

hello, i've been checking out the 1911's smith&wesson, kimber springfield armory, was looking at the PX9154LP vs. the kimber stainless with rail was wondering if the PX can come in with a rail also and how much more would it be. also which one do you think is a better gun?

WC145, that is a beautiful camera shot. Would you mind posting the brand and model of your camera? I'm in the market for a new digital camera.

Thanks.

L.W.

Thanks for the compliment! The pic was taken with a Kodak Z750 that we bought a little over 3 yrs ago. It's been a great camera, we took it to Jamaica and had all of our wedding pics taken with it. However, I doubt they still have that model, 3yrs is a loooonng time in digital years, plus it was only 5 megapixels. I'm sure they have some sort of upgraded model in the line up now.

We had a thread on THR a while back that challenged members to just pull out their carry gun, photograph it without a wipe down, and post the picture. The results were illuminating.

Here's my gun that is always there.

Is destryoing the finish of your gun a requirement of carry?

My CCW's have a fair amount of finish wear and a few light scratches, but I try not to drop them or bash into countertops and the like.

But then, I take care of all my stuff as though it had to last a lifetime. My 30 year old daily driver is nicer than many cars 1/4 it's age.

Nope, but it's often a result of carry.

A lot of folks relatively new to concealed carry may have photographed their pistol immediately after purchasing it, when it was still new. Wanting to present the prettiest picture, they used that one.

That was the purpose of the thread I referenced above, to show that carry guns get weathered and covered with lint, and still look fine regardless. Some members bowed out of the thread, while others posted some telling before and after pics.

Quick search....... Here is the thread........

I wear dress clothes in the office, so I cannot wear any external holster. I do not go ungunned though. I carry a Kel-Tec P-11 in a Galco Pocket Holster in my right front pocket. It is my go everywhere gun, part time primary & full time BUG. When I carry my Browning Hi Power or my Para LTC it is the BUG. I prefer my BUG to be of the same caliber as my primary.

My trusty Kahr PM9 with 200 flawless rounds through the barrel that recently replaced my heavier MK9, along with my well worn Galco pocket and IWB holsters that have served both pistols well.

And my wife's J Frame that will become her daily carry after she completes her CCW class next month. I'm so proud of her! :D

Wear marks are simply character marks. They remind me that I have had a faithful friend with many for many adventures. Here are a couple of mine. My 642 has more wear than these pics show, but here it is. It has been carried in my pocket, on my ankle, in my laptop bag for almost 3 years.

Here is my G23 that I dont get to carry as often as I would like. I wear a shirt and tie, without a suit jacket and this is harder to conceal with those types of clothes.
