Daly AR stripped lower?

There is a local shop that has a Charles Daly AR lower for $149. I can't seem to find any comparables online since I believe Daly is no longer in business.

Would it be wise to purchase that lower?

I would have about the same amount into a lower if I ordered online since my shop charges $35 for a transfer.
 
That's way overpriced, IMO. Watch AIM Surplus for when they get Spikes lowers in stock, they frequently have them for $80. Even with your transfer fee and shipping you'll be money ahead.

I do have a CD lower and it's very good quality.
 
The CDD lowers are beautiful and a great start for a build but that price is high. I got one for my son-in-law last year and he loves it since he was born in Harrisburg, PA. I'm very impressed with the finish on this lower, oozes quality - easily as good as my S&W lower. It was $109 plus a $25 transfer plus tax.

Wish CDD could have made it, their complete ARs were top notch too.
