Gents,
I got the PT-C back from my smith a couple days back, but have not hit the range. If you recall from my previous post this one came in unable to cycle and with dead tritium in the rear sight. DW sent out a loaner Novak rear to swap out while they exchanged the dead one, but it took long enough that I had my smith replace it with a different sight. The XS is just a strange animal in my opinion. It now wears an underline rear and the original front dot for a more conventional sight picture.
As for the feeding problems my smith recontoured the ramp and ran 50 rounds through with only one hitch. This was the slide-stop locking prematurely, so he touched up the stop a bit just to be sure. I will hit the range if possible this weekend and see how she runs. I just got my Missouri CCW, so if everything is kosher this pistol will enter rotation as a regular carry item. I still need to get some DoubleTap for it, but first need to make sure it is reliable. I will post further after shooting it. For now my Kimber HD II has first position for carry as I know it is 100%. Never a malfunction from the git-go.
