Did Dan Wesson ever make a 38 Special comparable to the Smith K38 target pistol 6" with adjustable sights?

I don't believe that DW ever made a dedicated bullseye target revolver. By the time the company was formed, the use of revolvers in that game was well on the decline. There were some .38 spl. only models made, but they were aimed primarily toward the LEA market, IIRC.
Not to worry, though. DW revolvers are justly well known for their consistently fine accuracy. While I'm not a big fan of the adjustable sights that came stock on them, the excellent Millet's are not too expensive and work wonderfully well. With some load development I'm sure that you could find a combo that'd shoot right up there with about any stock K-38, even if it didn't look as snazzy.
