Checking various sites looking for 9mm shell plate, along with half the rest of the country I guess. Lo and behold Cabelas had them in stock, yea! Checked - yup, .38/.357 available also - add that to basket, check on lnl bushings 10 pack - yup, add to basket. Wireless router crashed, reset router, plug laptop into power supply before battery is toast, re-open Cabelas session - no more 9mm shell plates.

grr

I did see one on armslist or someplace - for $125. nice.

9 mm uses a #8.

Our warehouse sports is converting back to Sportsmans Warehouse here in a few days. They usually have an abysmal reloading section - but you never know, maybe with the new mgmt they will stock up.

i hope this insanity calms down.

The sportsmans here carry's the normal common plates. I have had to order a few of them. Usually most handgun stuff. I found my .223 dies there after a while. Not sure if that is all of them or not.

I can assure you that they are still making them. I got lucky and found a #8 at my local Cabelas 3 weeks ago. Midway had some #8 and #45 last week and they were supposedly on backordered until May. I suggest just getting a backordered at Midway and waiting. They don't charge you until they have it in stock. So if you find one somewhere before they get more, just cancel the backorder.

If possible, put the shellplate on backorder with Midway.

My shellplate wasn't supposed to arrive for several months, however, it showed up in 2 weeks.

I actually found a store in Billings that claims they have 8 of them in stock. I ordered one late last night and got an order acknowledgement this am. we'll see.

Also, I got a PM this morning from a guy on this board offering to sell me an extra one that he has for his cost. I'd just like to say thanks!

Now I'm down to a few minor parts to round up - most of which don't seem to be a problem to find, and they are not show stoppers. I need to order up a couple of the quick change powder dies, a pistol measure insert. Then I should at least be able to get the machine set up properly.

Only took

1 order for the LNL from Gunstop. order Sat, shipped Monday, be here Thurs.
1 order from Midway for .45 shell plate and misc parts, shipped.
1 order from Cabelas for .38 / .357 shell plate and some misc small parts.
1 order from Butts Gun Shop for the 9 mm shell plate.
1 order TBD for clean up
1 order a couple weeks ago for .45/9mm dies from Midway - back order till May. (A friend has dies he's not using, so this isn't an issue)
