Just hoping some of the more experienced guys could look over my load make sure I'm A-okay.

First time loading 44 magnum.

Bullet - 240 grain Xtreme plated
Powder - Blue Dot
Brass - Starline
Primer - Win LPP

Crimp - 3/4ths turn on Lee FCD
COAL - 1.585

Powder charges, 11.0, 12.0, 13.0, 13.5,14.0, 14.5

Tops off right under 1500 FPS according to my manual.

Gun is a 6 inch model 29. Good to go?

1,500 FPS might be about 300 FPS faster then you should be pushing plated bullets?

I have no idea what 3/4 turn on a Lee FCD does to a case thats too long or too short????
What does the roll-crimp look like at that setting when you eye-ball it?

Thats all that matters.

I highly doubt you will see anything close to 1500 fps from that load. The manuals are always way higher than real life shooting.

Your loads are a full grain over what Alliant recommends for a 240gr Gold Dot bullet so they are quite high for a plated bullet. I would probably have stopped at 13.0gr.

I'm going off of Nosler's most recent data since they're closest to my COAL and using the same primer.

Their data states 15 grains of blue dot as a max load at 1390 FPS out of an 8.5 inch barrel.

Alliant' load isn't even at Nosler's jacketed starting point.

Thinking about it, out of a 6 inch gun at 14.5 grains I'll probably even stay below the magic 1200 FPS.

As usual working up carefully and watching for sticky ejection.

You can't compare Nosler jacketed bullets to Extreme Plated bullets.

They are not even nearly the same jacket thickness, toughness, or friction in the bore.

Don't even try too.

Plated bullets should be treated to mid-level jacketed bullet data at most.

Any velocities over 1200 FPS we recommend either
our Heavy Plate Concave Base or Hollow Point
products for superior accuracy. We do not
recommend velocities over 1500 FPS (Feet Per
Second) and only a light taper crimp.

This is from Xtreme's web site.
