Found it today on a wild goose chase. Found the goose too, a 6.5cm RPR but just like the real deal high flyers, just out of range. The PP isn't though, it's listed at 265 plus tax so all told it will be pushing 300. It's nice but not perfect. It's nice and tight though. Only wear it shows is a bit of holster wear. I would grade it about 95%. I am nervous about it being an interarms gun (stamped interarms just under the slide) but at that price it's tempting.

There is a huge difference between a gun made by Interarms (stainless PPKs) and an Interarms German or French import. That price sounds awesome.

I'm going to try to make it work. I have some trade fodder I can try to squeeze in and ease the deal. I will report back on Friday
Did you notice if it was German or Manhurin (French)? The Marhurin ones are just as nice, but are very slightly less valuable.

I don't know if it's German or not. I don't think so. The proof marks or whatever they are struck me as being Belgian but I knew that wasn't right. Probably is French.

Interarms both imported Walters and sold USA made pistols however, the PP model was not made in the USA.

This is one of those "ya snooze ya looze" situations as someone else will realize what is offered and snap it up. The PP was designed for the 7.65 cartridge and is a dream to shoot, mine has a 1934 era PPK to go along side and display beautiful engineering.

I have a pre-war Walther PP made in Zella-Mehlis and I sure paid A LOT more for it than that. Buy it. The Manhurins are very good. Walther survived the war and moved to France to keep making his guns.

No more debate. It's mine. It's a German interarms pp. holster wear outside, internally like new. Slide doesn't even have the bluing worn off along the rails.

Enjoy your PP. For your information the Interarms PPK/s Made in America are considered very close to their German/French counterparts In workmanship and reliability . Its the S&W disaster That was a problem. . I bought a mid 1980's PPK/s used. Unknown how many owners . Years ago . It been 100% reliable with ball or HP . Was my main carry gun for many years and still sees some carry yet today..

Michael T, during the time Interarms was having the PPK and PPKs made for them there were continuing difficulties with the pistols functioning. In the Llaw enforcement community the talk was if you got one that functioned reliabily you were GTG but if it malfunctioned many trips to the factory would not make it work. I had one of the inbetween ones, it was not reliable enough to be trusted for plainclothes carry but was a fun shooter and really barky when fired. I usually had a mod 60 for carry until the 3913 became available.

Ya' done good! A German made PP at that price and in that nice of shape is a really great deal!

Inside the ejection port on the barrel should be a stamp of an antler (for Ulm), an eagle over N (Nitro proofmark) and a two-digit number (year of proofing, close enough to use as year of production).

Definitely European, if pre-1985 its French made and German finished. Interarms never produced the PP in the states. I have four of them, yours is very nice and a real bargain. If I had seen it I'd now own five!

I'd grab that in a heart beat.
