I was looking at the 6" gp100, and the 5" 1911, guns I have already as far as handguns are concerned I have a s&w 627 v-comp, ruger alaskan, and a colt saa.
 
I had to go with the GP-100. Rugged gun that can shoot cheaper .38 special, because cheap ammo is extremely important to me. Call me crazy but I think it's a beautiful gun too (although not quite as beautiful as some of the 1911's I've seen, and definitely not the chick-magnet my XD-9 is :neener: )
 
Given that you already own several awesome revolvers, I voted for the 1911", but the 6" GP100 would be a very close second; a good DA .357 is a must at some point, but you, like me, already have some good whellgun steel, and you need an auto--a 1911 fits the bill.
