Del-Ton AR upper

My first AR was built by my LGS with a Del-Ton upper, I never had any problems with it, but I ended up selling it before I did a whole lot with it, due to unexpected bills. :( Overall, they seem pretty solid.

I have a couple of Del-Ton rifles that have consumed a pile of ammo without incident. i like the one with the lighter barrel just because it handles better but both are very accurate. For an "entry level" rifle they are made exceptionally well.

I got a great deal on an almost new Del-Ton for my GF. It has worked great thus far (about 1,000 rounds of various ammo)

I have this upper and it has been very accurate for me. I am in the process of finding a good load for it. It is a little barrel heavy but I am using mine as my coyote rig and shooting it off a bit-pod. It seems to like the heavy bullets so far.

I just (as in today) swapped a flat top upper on my 20" rifle for a Del Ton A2 assembled upper. In spec, good fit & finish. Only thing not to like is the price of A2 uppers ($132 vs. ~$60 for an assembled A4)

I just got a Del Ton Sport this summer and took it out to sight in. A $20 rear sight and Wal Mart brass ammo got me probably quarter-sized groups at fifty yards. I was pleasantly surprised by its accuracy.

The Sport is their budget model and sells for a rock-bottom price. I can't imagine any of their other uppers would shoot worse than that.

Ive never heard of a REAL problem with their stuff, and they're one of the few places you can still get an A2 upper, though you would have to order through them, not midway if you want that. Kits do not come with a magazine.
