Delonte West Cleveland Cavliers guilty of weapons charges??!!!

According to ESPN Delonte West pleaded guilty to a weapons charge.

He plead guilty to carrying a dangerous weapon (bowie knife) and illegally transporting a handgun.

Apparently he was transporting his firearms from one home to his new home when police pulled him over.

Dangerous weapon? Anything can be considered a dangerous weapon.

Illegally transporting a handgun. How does one "legally" transport a handgun in Maryland.

Amazing that Maryland feels the need to be so much tougher and make dumb gun laws. I guess Virginia and Pennsylvania which have much better gun laws are shooting it out and bullets flying everywhere.

I find it interesting that an unemployed guy like me can know and obey the applicable firearms laws wherever I happen to be at any given instant, but somebody who could afford a platoon of lawyers can't.

Just more validation of my disdain for professional sports and professional "sportsmen"...
