Here is a picture of a dent/tooling mark in the slide of this Kimber Warrior II. It's definitely a dent, not a burr. The mark is concave, not convex. If you drag your fingernail across the slide, it will catch in this dent/mark.
I purchased this only two days ago. I have not fired it yet and this was not put there by me. You can clearly see the mark is underneath the finish. The mark is on the right side/ejection port side, just forward of the slide serrations by about 1/4"
Should I or would you be concerned about this? Or would you just forget about it and just shoot the snot out of it?
I do not care if it's only a cosmetic issue, I'm only concerned over whether there might be any problems that will arise later on down the line. (Excessive or unusual wear, reliability issues, etc.)
