So, I'm BS'ing with my neighbor and I know he's a collector. He says Oh i'm cutting back (he's older, I think he's financing his retirement). What do you want?
First he hauls out a Python Hunter, Colt case, everything. from teh factory scope, 8 inch barrel. Pretty cool, but not really what I "need".
I say, do you have any diamondback's? Really looking for a nice .22 DiamondBack.
He goes and rummages around and comes back out with a (are you sitting down?)
In the box, brand new, never fired, 1979 .38spl 6inch barrel DiamondBack.
Beautiful.
I now own it.
But, here's the questioins? Do I shoot it?
That first shot is 200 bucks. (more or less teh difference in prices). But I only own shooters.
I have a couple days to think on this, opinions valued.
Oh, the owners manual has the list of revolvers it's good for. (Dect. special, diamondback, etc) then at the end it says "Viper"
What the heck is a viper? never heard of that.
thanks
