Is anyone else having problems going to Missouri Bullets web page? Every time I try my browser gets redirected to some weird pop ups from
Zerodirect.com or some nonsense. Just when I wanted to order some projectiles.

Hate those Uh ohs like that.
We have machines (users) at work that still manage to get :cuss: even though we have good antivirus, web filtering etc.
I will be suprised if its only a single :cuss: getting all the cr@p cleaned off your machine.

Malwarebytes antimalware is free and can help somtimes.
Our PC techs at work have a long list of things they use. Luckliy I deal with the servers and network so the PC techs get the poop to cleanup.
Good luck.

I've been using malware bytes and antivirus softwares and they haven't found anything yet. I guess I'm going to have to go old school and just phone in my order. Thanks everyone.

Just got a S&W Model 58-1 .41 Magnum.

While my own casts leaded the barrel a bit, MBCs .41 Trooper Hi-Tek worked flawlessly.
(as always)

They answer their phone! and are very helpful!! Great people.
As a FYI when doing phone orders depending on the weight of the bullets they can ship more than 2000 in a MFRP. I orderd 1500 of 1 9mm flavor and 1000 .45s (2 different boxes of 500 on the .45s, three boxes of 9 dumped into two boxes) 4 of their boxes fit in a MFRB. So you could do 3000 of 1 kind or two 1500s if the bullets are light enough. Other combos possible. Weight limit is 60lb I think. Can't do this one the web site you need to call them.

Don't forgot the 5% THR discount.

They always let me use it on phone orders.

If you can't case it down and the above link about removing it didn't work PM me and I will send you a list of the things our techs use. (will need to ask them)

Sometimes Norton Power eraser will do the trick as well.
The problem is some things are just :cuss: hard to get rid of.

As a side note USB drives are fairly cheap. System Backups are worthless until you need one then they are priceless. (don't ask how I know this)
You can usually pick up a 2tb external USB drive for under $100. If you have a USB 3 port it makes things much faster when backing up. (usually blue colred plastic in the port).

I back my system up at least every couple of weeks and stick the USB drive in the gun safe.

No Problems

I just placed an order with no problems. Hope you can work your problem out!

Guys, Just a followup to the problem I was having with the browser redirecting me to some redirect.com spam sites when I tried to go to Missouri Bullets. I tried everything in the book, from malware bytes to different virus detection software. I had the same issue on my computer, smart phone, and tablet. Even my wife who never goes to gun sites on the web tried to connect and the same thing happened. I was finally out at lunch and tried to access through a public server and bingo it came right up. What I ended up doing was going home and unplugging my router for about 5 minutes. Once the router was plugged back in and booted up Voila. No more redirects and I am now ordering stuff from Missou Bullets post haste. Life is good again. I hope this helps someone else out if you have the same problem. Jimbo

Great! I love happy endings. :D

Moral of story, if you keep getting redirected from MBC website, unplug your router and reboot.

Thanks!

I had heard that they moved their web site. I do believe it had been hacked, or the hosting company was hacked (more likely).

Had a problem for a few days. Just got off the site.
When things looked normal, placed my order and received it no problem.

Both Brad and Jo Ann are ex computer technology folks.(Geeks:))

I believe they have strong web site experience,

Have to laugh about the reboot,
after 35 years of dealing with computers that is usually the best thing to try first.....

My five year old neice came out of my den 20 years ago told me the computer wasn't working right so she booted it.
(she was very proud of herself for fixing it) :)

It could have been your router, a router down the way, the hosting site got hacked, possible DNS issue, ARP table problem etc. It all seems very simple when it works but when things go wrong network wise it can be, well lets just say fun.

Glad you got it going and were able to order.
