Both Finn and both subguns...but what is the difference in their configuration. Different receivers?

Ever since I bought a Finn captured Mosin with a BRAND NEW barrel on it, I've been interested in all things Finn. TIA!

The Suomi 1931 is a select fire blowback SMG with a nominal cyclic rate of 900 rpm, weighing in at 15.65 lbs with a loaded 71 round drum. It was designed by Aimo Johannes Lathi. It's made of heavy, well machined steel with a fixed wood stock.

The Suomi m44 is fully automatic, also blowback, 650 rpm, 9.40 pounds with the loaded 71 round drum, and has a folding stock. It's apparently credited to one Willi Daugs, of Tikkakoski Arsenal. It's a lot like a PPS 43, almost entirely made from sheet metal stampings.
