I noticed a number of you folks use Dillon 650s.

Many of us who use the 650 have had an "issue" with the spent primers popping out of the cup and hitting the bench & floor.

This fix may be of interest.

Here's a link to some pics and descriptive information users of the Dillon 650 can use to easily fix the problem of spent primers under foot. I did NOT invent/devise this fix...I have read and seen information on several different reloading forums and offer my rendition of how best to fix the problem. It's cheap and easy.

BTW...this fix will also open up access to the primer punch so that primer change-outs are much easier/faster.

Several of the folks on the Brian Enos Forum got this fix a going (at least that is where I came upon the fix)...I just tweaked it a bit and took time to get pics taken so others can see how to keep the primers off the floor.

Hope this is of help to some of you.

Nice write-up! I can appreciate the satisfaction of "dialing in a machine" and it's also nice to see people getting creative with solutions that don't require a metal lathe (which most people don't have). :)

What about the ski jump? :)

On a friends 650 we took a 44 mag case, drilled out the base and slid the rim under the factory bracket. Connect hose and your done.

I like the cup so I used a section of 1/2" box tube to keep them in.
