dillon powder measure and ramshot true blue anyone use this combo , with true blue being a fine powder I am wondering
if there was and leakage issues ?

Not quite exactly the same but I use Ramshot Silhouette and AA#5 which are also both very fine powders in a Lee Auto Disk measure and I see very little leakage. I think you'll do fine with it.

I just opened a can of true blue, and it is the finest powder I have ever seen. Like super fine sugar. Low volume too, but I do not consider that a good thing for my application. Leaked all over my Lee autodrum. Fortunately, I had another drum it likes better and only leaks a little. Meters very consistently and gives me a very reliable velocity.

None of which answers your question, but it is the best I can offer.

My current main powder for 9x19 reloads is True Blue. I discovered it during the Obama years shortages of reloading components. At the time, True Blue seemed to be a secret and folks were not using it, at least in my parts of the world. It was available in virtually unlimited quantities.

Over the past few years, I've loaded in excess of 6000 9x19 cartridges on my Dillon SDB press. True Blue works well in the Dillon powder measure.

I'm sure there was a little leakage but not enough to amount to anything. Winchester 296 in a MEC 600jr powder measure loading .410 shot shells spilled more powder than what I remember the Dillon measure leaked.

I use True Blue in a 550b for 9mm / 38 special and noticed no leakage after going through 1lb. The only powder I've had problems with in the Dillon is AA7 which showed minimal leakage. Despite True Blue appearing just as finely grained I haven't had any issues with it.

Dillon 550 and True Blue is my combo lol. Great for 9mm and 45 acp. Even used it for 357 magnum. No leaking, flows like water, which gives single digit deviations and spreads. Burns clean. I highly recommend it.

This may solve any powder leakage problem with the Dillon powder measure, it did for me with H110.

When using the small powder bar on the Dillon powder measure you have to install a spacer. This can introduce a tolerance stacking issue and cause the normally close fit of the parts to become loose. Fine grain powder can then leak out between the spacer and the bar, at the top of the spacer, or under the bar.

To solve this problem, remove the spacer and clean out any powder grains from around the bar. Then apply a layer of clear plastic packing tape to the top side of the spacer. Burnish it down well (avoid bubbles) and trim the outer edges. Don't worry about the blocked holes yet. Reinstall the spacer above the bar and test how the bar moves. Add layers of tape until the spacer will not install or the bar will not move properly. Now remove all the tape and apply only the number of layers that allowed the bar to move properly. Cut the edges flush and open up the holes making sure that no tape or goo overhangs into the powder opening.

Your powder bar is now shimmed to an exact fit with the powder measure body and powder leakage should be greatly reduced or eliminated.
