disable decock on hk45c?

Does anyone know if there's a way to disable the decock the hk45c in a non-permanent way?

I would ask hkforums, but the administrators are nonresponsive in terms of enabling my account (don't know why I can't post)... and i'm too lazy to try for another name

reason being that I'm afraid that I'll decock the weapon when drawing it... and I don't really need the de-cock anyway...

You could have it converted to a variant 9. You won't have the decock function anymore, it's manual safety only, but that is about the only option I can think of that doesn't carry the possibilty of disabling the gun.

Like Dirtpile said, it's just varient 9.

I did it to a USP .45 because it would decock when firing if I rode the safety.

Check your owners manual parts diagram and look for the V-9 detent plate. I got mine from HKpartsonline.com. I did it myself from the links at HKPro.

Could go LEM, basically converting it to a SAO w/ no manual safety, just a lot of slack till you feel engagement. I personally like the LEM trigger, but each there own.

cool thx. I'm not interested in LEM right now for it since my p2000sk has that... still not sure which one I want. gonna check if I can convert the p2000sk to this variant 9 thing too..
