DNZ Game Reaper issue?

I recently purchased a Savage 10FCP-k in 308. I ordered a DNZ game reaper one piece scope mount. Once mounted the scope is so close to the barrel that when turned down to 4.5 power I can actually see end of the barrel and it blocks part of my vision. When I turn up the power this is not an issue. The barrel is long on this gun but has anyone ever had an issue like this? Could it be that DNZ accidentally stuck a left hand mount in a right hand case. The rear of the mount is thicker than the front and looks like it might actually cant it slightly towards the barrel. Any ideas?

That is normal with a lot of scopes set on the lowest power. Usually not much of an issue until you get down under about 3X in my experience though. I don't use many barrels over 22" though and none over 24".

Issue solved. I have the wrong Savage mount. I didn't know there were two styles. One has a rounded front with a flat back and one is all rounded. I have the wrong one. DNZ has great customer service.
