642 or a 638 is on my person most of the time whenever I go out. Except when hiking then I have the 686+ on me.

Daily from when I wake up till I go to sleep, I carry a 442 in my custom pocket holster or perhaps rather it is a trigger shield. Rides lower in the pocket this way than with any normal pocket holster. Oh, the photo was shot before I traded in my 642 for the 442, which is black (less to show in pocket opening than with the silver-colored backstrap of the 642.
The old saying, if it moves and shouldn't, duct tape it. If it doesn't move and should, WD40.Cardboard and duct tape! Works fine. I myself have one such a jerry-rig. Here in the South, duct tape is sacred.
At home, I drop a J-frame in my pocket. Can't hardly tell its even there. It is easily retrieved. Revolver gives a homeowner time to get to their safe-room and primary defensive weapon. Me, I'm in no way paranoid. I like revolvers, even though I have other technologies. Occasionally, we hear shooting at night, still not worried -- it's their problem.

Duct tape was problematical because it would dry out and flake apart, but this Gorilla Tape is awesome stuff!
a s&w 642 for outdoors and a rossi j frame clone for indoors. i prefer softer-recoil wadcutter and short ammo.
What model Rossi is that? I've been on the lookout for one of their three-inchers that's not an old-style Model 68.
What IS that grip?!?Moonclips rule!
I have always had good luck with TK Custom moonclips in my 442.
