Do you carry an "under-rated" concealed handgun?

I carry a Grand Power K100 Mk 6, also known as STI GP6. Underrated? Who decides? I have much more expensive and "proven" guns too, but my K100 is my workhorse.

This is a good and worthy topic, but I made up my mind forty years ago. The best small gun I could find back then was the .38 snub. Everyone carried those back then; it was the small gun that worked every time. I have found no reason to change my mind since.

The largest animal killed by a standard velocity .38 is the polar bear. The circumstances were unusual. If it had not happened in New York I would not have believed it.

+1 on the Keltec PF9. Kendal, my wife carries a j frame .38, never ran into any polar bears though.

Yup. EDC is an LCP. And like the OP, I favor a single-stack 3913 (or its .40 caliber big brother 4013) over many doublestack polymer pistols when I'm carrying something bigger than the .380.

My only concealed carry option right now is my Kimber GC stainless, however I would certainly supplement it with a pocket pistol if I had one!
