Do you like Microtech

I have one. I had two but ended up screwed out of the better one on a deal that went sour. I like it but's not like I'd ever carry it or use it for anything. Of my autos, I prefer the little Gerber covert and if I carry an auto, that's the one because it would be difficult to argue that it's a weapon and not a tool. I have the larger version floating around here somewhere but I think the gnomes are holding on to it. of the autos, I would trust the Gerber Propel (the one with the tanto style blade) to withstand more abuse than the Microtech and the Gerber 06 (the black one with the drop point blade) is the most robust of all of them. of all of them, the Propel is my favorite. It was $140. The Gerbers are all S30V steel. The second from the bottom is a Kershaw launch 7. It's CPM154 steel, made in USA, the lightest of all the knives, extremely sharp of course but lacks any kind of a locking mechanism. It's all right. If I had to take only one with me to war it would be either of the ones on top, the 06 or the Propel and, in fact, I would take the Propel. It is a serious knife. The Microtech would stay in the safe.

I don't care for them. I had a buddy had a collection of them. We played with them enough to get the feel. I don't like the button placement or the style.

I like the infidel though, with a single sided blade, 3310. Had one a while and traded it on a gun purchase. Regretted it ever since.
