Do you like your Leupold VX-R scope?

Ladies & Gents,

I am contemplating a new scope, and this line of Leupold scopes has me interested. They seem like a nice mix of red-dot and conventional scope.

Tell me how you are using it (weapon/hunting type). Tell me your opinion.

I just put the 2-7 on my Ruger Scout rifle. Seemed like a real good idea for my upcoming elk hunt. Works well even on a bright sunny day.

I have the VX-R 3-9X50 Firedot on my hog hunting rifle. No complaints at all.

I use a Leupold VXR 1.5-5X33 EIR Scout with Fire Dot reticle on a Ruger GSR. It works great, is fast, and helpful in low-light for hogs. The main tube is 30mm, with lots of adjustment possible. I use several other Leupold VXR scopes, and all have given 100% satisfaction.
