I "owned" two, one (a .40) was a not too well thought out gift which after firing it quite a bit along with my other .40's I gave it back to the donor. The other was a 10mm I bought to play with along with my other steel 10's and after I had shot it enough to determine I preferred my 1911's and Tanfoglio I sold it to a friend who remains a friend.

I have three at the moment, a G22.4, G32.4, and a G42. I recently sold my G34.5 and G41.4 and I plan to replace them with a G19.5 and a G21.5

No, I could never warm up to them. Still to this day all my handguns are steel and/or alloy. My fav is my S&W 915 I carried in the 1990s to 2000 as an LEO. It just feels good in the hand... and shoots great too.

I don’t have one. I don’t have anything against them in principle, they are solid and reliable. The grip angle just doesn’t jive with my natural point of aim. I usually shoot a few inches high. I’m sure I could learn my way to it, but other pistols shoot more intuitively for me.

More than 1 for many years. I really like my Gen 2s. As long as a weapon fits my hand grip angle does not affect the way I shoot.

Yes. My original issued Glock 35. We were able to buy them back from GT Distributirs for $350 I think.

And, my Glock 22 my Police association bought for me when I retired.

Both were special runs by Glock with our badge number in the serial number. DDx-127 on the 35.

The 22 is the Dept initials and badge number. XPD-127.

Kinda cool. No reason to sell them, though I rarely shoot or carry them.

Glocks feel like I’m holding the wrong end of a baseball bat. But. That’s me. They are fantastic guns.

The next time I miss when shooting one of my 2 Glocks, I'm going to blame it on the grip angle. 😄
Just kidding around. The truth is, I didn't know Glocks had a weird grip angle until I read it right here on THR. And I shoot my Glocks every bit as well as I shoot any of my other semi auto pistols (which admittedly is not all that great) but not as well as I shoot a Ruger single action revolver. ;)

Yes Sir, I have seen it on other forums but yeah I never could figure out the reasoning. Glocks, 1911s, revolvers and Sigs as long as the grip fits I can shoot them well. Practice and technique are key. Of course as always to each his own and shoot often...

I have a Glock 20 Gen.4. I changed the Barrel to a KKM Barrel as I reload and Glock says not to shoot reloads in it. The problem is the Glock does not have a fully supported chamber and is a bit oversized giving Glock the dependability its famous for but my 10mm cases all get the Glock Bulge so the KKM resolves that problem and so far has been as dependable as the factory Glock Barrel.

I have a 19 and a 20, both Gen 3s. I also have a .40 conversion barrel for the 20. For years I kept the Glock 19 loaded and occasionally carried it but they are both now relegated to range guns. I have had and traded off a 32 and a 42. The 32 was too snappy and the 42 was not reliable.

I could see myself trade off the 20 one day, but I will never get rid of the 19. Since I bought it in I think 2006 it has never jammed(that I can remember). And I have shot everything under the sun through it. Most recently I bought a case of Federal 124 HSTs so I brought out the 19 to make sure it feeds knowing full well it would. Shot a 50 round box flawlessly, cleaned it, and put it away.

They are my only two striker fired guns at the moment.

Right now I have three Glocks: a G42, a G26, and a G21. The G42 I bought just for the novelty of having a .380 Glock, but I found out that I really like it as a handy carry pistol. The G26 goes in my bug-out bag because it share mags with my Ruger PC9 carbine. The G21 I bought because I want to have at least one .45 ACP pistol, but it's going up for sale because I just acquired a SIG P227 SAS.

I'd probably rather own a P227 than a G21, but I'd be concerned the P227 is out of production, was never a big seller, and didn't have long production run, so parts may become difficult to obtain. Conversely, the G21 is still in production, and at least in "Glock years" the G21 has had a long production run, so parts should be available for a long time to come.

Fair point. It's not going to be an "everyday" gun for me, but it would probably be smart to stock up on various springs and things now while they're still available.

I own the issued gun I had when I retired. Was issued It in 1999. Qualified 4 times a year but carried my usp, 457 or my go to my Colt Officers whenever I could depending on who was Sheriff and whatever new policy came down.

I kinda have a love hate relationship with Glocks, bought several sold/traded several. I don't like the trigger. Not real fond of the grip but can live with it. I have to admit with one exception they are like the Toyota Corollas of the hand gun world. Right now I have one with a broken trigger return spring waiting for time and another 10mm ported barrel/slide as a 'beargitoffme' woods gun.

I think that’s a pretty good analogy. Curious though - what do you think is the “one exception” to Glocks being like Toyota Corollas?
Not that I have anything against Toyotas either. With “one exception,” I’ve had good luck with every Toyota I’ve ever owned. That “one exception” was a Toyota Tundra pickup. It got lousy gas mileage, and I never did get used to the “grip angle” of the steering wheel. 😁

I have had a G29 and a G20.
Going to do a G40 in SS, then do another G20 but chop the grip for a G29 magazine.
All I have left is the 17L again in SS, which I might upgrade to a Glock 24, so I can go between both .40 and 9MM in one gun.
