The best customer service is when the problem is our fault and they help.

RCBS and Lyman have never charged me for any thing.

I have stuff from most of the manufacturers. I'v gotten excellent service from them all. I think this is one of the rare areas where the manufacturers actually take it seriously. About a year ago I broke a decapping pin in my RCBS die. when I called, the guy asked how long I'd been using that die. I told him 30 years and he actually laughed out loud and said "you're about due". He sent me a packet of new decapping pins and I had them in only a few days.

I use multiple brands and sometimes multiples of the multiples - 12 in all.

I have 2 offbeat presses: CH AutochampV and an early Dillon 300 that in 40 years I’ve never met another owner.

No problems with any of them, except the Autochamp is a bit finicky. I can’t complain because after over 50,000 rounds it's still knocking out great ammo.

I’ve only needed customer service twice for problems not related to the manufacturer. RCBS and Dillon were exceptional.

Another multiple brands guy here. Let's see - a veritable explosion of color in my kit.
Hornady LNL AP x2
RCBS RC
Lyman All American Turret
Dillon D-Terminator scale
Lyman tumbler
Lee Perfect Powder Measure
Lyman powered trimmer
RCBS case prep station
RCBS primer pocket swager II
Dies - RCBS, Lee, Hornady, Redding and Lyman
WFT set for several cartridges
Odds and ends from various makers.

I agree, most of the makers of reloading equipment have excellent service. Its well worth the price paid. Co-Ax owners have you ever changed out your claws (shell holder) and launched a spring? I did and it rolled under the furnace. I called Forster and they sent me four. You only need two and I only lost one. So I needed one and they sent four. Nice.

Dillon 650 with case feed, bullet feed. Set up for 9mm because that is what I shoot mostly at the range and nothing else comes close to it except a 1050.
Lee Classic Turret, everything else, because nothing else is as versatile, flexible nor near as fast in a conventional turret press.
Lee dies are almost all I own as far as the basic reloading dies, Lyman M dies, RCBS lock outs round out my others.
Lee PPM for rifle, Lee Pro Auto disks and the Dillon measures for on press(same design and patent).
Lyman universal trimmer, fast, repeatable accuracy. Price is right, very versatile. Hornady LnL Case Prep Trio. Small(soda can sized), fast, does the basics I need.
CH4D on press swage. Rocks any other brand, will outpace a Dillon Super swage with ease, 35 bucks to my door.
Lyman 1200 tumbler, RCBS 10-10 scale. Lyman M5 and a new Pro500 as back ups.

Various other tools from various manufacturers.

Here is my list of equipment off the top of my head. I would highly recommend all of this equipment. I am pretty fussy about what I buy and I get rid of anything that I don't like.

RCBS rock chucker II
Lee classic turret press
RCBS uniflow powder measure
Lyman gen 6 electronic powder dispenser
Vibra shine electric powder trickler
hornady powder trickler
very old Redding beam scale
Forrester case trimmer with all the attachments
Lyman, and K&M brass prep equipment
Lyman hand priming tool
a couple RCBS precision chamber mics
Redding body sizing dies
Lee collet sizing dies (love these things!)
Lee factory crimp dies
RCBS, forester, hornady, redding, pacific, and lee rifle dies
Lee carbide pistol dies

All of my reloading equipment , with the exception of the powder trickler, is Lee; not that it is better than the rest, but IMO it is the best value for the money.

Lee press, powder measure, priming tool, and beam scale. Lee, RCBS, and Redding dies (so far). Berry's tumbler. Lyman and RCBS case prep tools. Lyman kinetic puller. MTM electronic scale. Ace Hardware drop-tube. :)

Matt

I started reloading with a Lee Challenger Breech Lock kit. All my dies are Lee. I use a Franklin digital scale and a digital caliper from Harbor freight.
This set up works for me and I have no plans to upgrade.

Calibers that I reload:
.32 H & R Magnum
.38 spl/.357 mag
.44 spl/.44 mag
.45-70 Gov't

For 20 & 12 gauge shotgun reloading, I use MEC 600 Jr. reloaders.

NPresses : RCBS, Pacific, Lee, Hollywood, Bair, Bonanza, and one home made custom

Dies : Redding, Forster, RCBS , Lyman, CH, Herters, Pacific, Hollywood, Lee, Lyman, and Wilson

Balance beams : Pacific, RCBS, and Ohaus

Tooling : Redding, RCBS, Lee, Sinclair, Forster, 21st Century, K&M, etc...

I use whatever works best for the job at hand, with what I have on hand.

Rockchucker or Co-Ax for single stage use
Lee press with a Redding decap die
Dies I usually use Redding sizer(body or FL), Lee neck collet, Wilson seater.
Chargemaster .2 grains light then trickle up on a tuned Pacific balance beam
Thumblers and SS or Hornady vibratory with corn cob and nu-finish
Trim mate for chamfering and primer pocket duties
Trim pro or small drill press for trimming
Imperial sizing wax
Graphite for neck sizing

I don't care what color, size, make, shape, brand or weight the tool is, if it does the job I need it to do accurately and efficiently I use it.

Turret press, powder measure, scale, bullet sizer/luber and bullet molds are all Lyman and 50+ years old. Dies are probably 40% Lyman and 60% RCBS. Then there’s some miscellaneous stuff that’s MidSouth Shooters.

Mostly 2 brands on the major reloading parts! Dillon dies on my progressive and Redding on my T-7. I have one set of Lee custom rifle dies and a few collet dies. Measuring and accessory tools are a mix of Wilson, Hornady, Redding, Sinclair, 21st Century and PMA.

Some choices by trial and error, some I got lucky the first time!

Lyman turret press, lube/sizer, and case trimmer
Dillon beam scale
Lee hand primer
RCBS powder measure and tumbler
Mostly Lee dies, with some RCBS
Hornady Cam Lock bullet puller
Frankford Arsenal digital caliper

I bought a Dillon 550B and all Dillon accessories when I started, and have since added another 550B so you could say I'm a purist. :) I have all Dillon dies except one set of Hornaday.
