Does anybody make a nice, METAL, CO2 BB/pellet pistol?

This co2 pistol feels super good in your hands! its almost all metal except for the plastic grips. its heavy and feels like you're holding a reall P99. it has ambi mag release, mag holds nineteen pellets! (not BBs, but i've sent many racoons flying with this thing). The fully metal slide blows back after every shot which kicks like a 22 pistol and also recocks the striker, so you have an extremely light SA trigger every time. just rack the slide before the first shot and you're good! oh yeah and the slide locks back after the last shot, flick the slide release and the metal slide clanks shut, trust me, you WILL feel retty hardcore with this thing  . its got sights that are molded into the slide, so theyre not adjustable, but its ok cuz its pretty stinkin accurate. just expect to go through a little more co2 cuz of the blowback, but its really not that much.

out of all the bb guns ive handled, this one is as close to realistic as it gets: http://www.umarexusa.com/detail.aspx?ID=120

I have looked for the CP99 model you describe with a 19 rd. PELLET magazine and can not find it. I see an 8 shot rotary clip and the 19 rd. BB magazine. I'd love to find one like you are describing. I, like the OP, am also searching for the most realistic, semi-auto air pistol. Ideally I'd like pellets but I don't like the idea of the rotary magazine and don't believe those types have a slide that locks open on the last round.

I recently borrowed a friends Walther PPK BB pistol and was very impressed by the authenticity of the weapon. I have been using it to teach my six year old daughter how to handle a pistol and it's size and realism are excellent for that purpose. I decided I'd like to get one similar but preferred a pellet pistol with a bottom loading magazine, functioning slide, single and double action and the slide locking open after the last round.

Sorry if I'm dragging up an old thread here but I found it on google search when researching this topic.

If you want to go 'retro', you can't beat an old Crosman 38C, similiar to these:

I have been shooting pellet pistols for over 35 years now and this is easily the most realistic CO2 pistol I have ever seen.

That's my sugestion, too!

I have one of these Crossman bolt action pump pistols because I don't like worrying about CO2 cylinders:

Mostly metal and very powerful!

I Don't believe it took 22 posts for this.

"Yes. A Benjamin EB22."

American made. All metal(brass, I believe). Accurate. Slightly spendier than some, but built to last and rebuildable if you can actually wear it out. Also way cheaper than a lot of shooters that it can out shoot.

I was going to suggest the same as hammerklavier. If you want anything "more realistic" than the following, good luck finding it:

The Makarov

I have a Daisy Powerline model 15XT, that I've used for about 3 years, to shoot rats that come into the back yard to eat bird food. I've lost count of the number I've killed with it. The 1st summer I used it, I killed 16. Most distances were around 25 to 30 feet. I also epoxyed a cheap laser sight to it.
I gave me something to do while listening to Padre's baseball games and smoking cigars.

i bought a crossman model t38 in .22 today off a friend, i have not fired it but it feels like i am holding a real handgun. solid and heavy metal. i am not sure it is steel but it feels like it. 6 shots and the action is smooth. it feels really good in the hand and has some decent cut rifling. although i prefer button rifling i am sure it will do nicely! i will hopefully get some CO2 soon to give it a test. another good one is the daisy 15XT, i have had mine for a few years and although it is plastic it feels comfortable to hold and is accurate enough to hit a mint tin from about 80 feet away. mine seems to prefer Gamo lead BBs over steel, but steel will shoot just fine for simple plinking and target practice.

Smith and Wesson CO2 586 pellet pistol is available in several barrel lengths, is metal, and weighs the same as the real thing. Pyramid Air carries them, as well as many other top quality air guns. Look them up on line - you will be amazed.
