Working on some .410 1/2 oz loads for .410 with 444 marlin brass. Alliant website uses their 410 powder for their load data and I see on the burnrate chart that Longshot is right above it, which I have on hand. So I am curious as to whether anyone else has tried this for .410 powder? I know burnrate charts are only a suggestion of the characteristics of powder under controlled circumstances, never hurts to ask though! I posted this over in the shotgun forum and it was suggested I would get a better response here, so here it is.
