The people who have reliability problems overwhelmingly are those who didn't bother to skim the manual and understand that a flush fitting 30 round magazine for rimmed cartridges isn't as idiot proof as your typical mag. If you don't load them properly, you'll get rim lock after rim lock.
I experience very few malfunctions with my CMR. It was fine as a 16" gun, and it's fine as a suppressed 10" SBR. I've run all kinds of ammo from 30 to 50 grain, CCI, Federal, Winchester, Remington and others. Load the mags right, it'll run fine.

MachIV is correct about loading the magazines correctly. I have a PMR which uses the same magazines. Most people that have issues with the CMR or the PMR is due to rim lock. The owners manual is very specific on how to load the magazines. I haven’t had any problems with my PMR

I don't own one, but I've read about some of the issues and it hasn't scared me enough to not get one. A CMR is definitely one of the guns I'd like to pick up in the next couple years.

Yes I do and I like it I have never had any trouble with it I shoot the 40Gr bullets and by any maker does good I do like the Winchesters the best I have some Armscor 40 Gr HP that I will shoot when the weather gets good here in IN My gun came with a trigger pull of 3 Lb that is lite for a hand gun!
Yes I have one and enjoy it. As stated, proper loading of magazines is the biggest issue for both the CMR30 and the PMR30. FWIW not only is the proper procedure and required tapping/seating needful but life is simpler if you consider the 30 round magazine as a 27 rd mag (or 25 and simply load 2 magazines from each box of ammo. They are really fun guns and have some practical applications for field use and self defense.....but they don't achieve the same level of reliability as good 9mm pistols and carbines.

My PMR30 is reliable when the mag is loaded properly, gun cleaned, and lightly oiled.
A simple mag test of pressing down on the top round to see if it pops back, is usually enough to insure a good mag fill.
28 rounds usually pops back better than 30.
It is fed 40 gr JSP, HP and CCI gamepoints.
