Does anyone have a MEC charge bar list?

I have a few of the old bars (that don't use bushings) and I would like to know what powder charges they throw.

Are you sure 1 1/8 oz. of snot will fit over 19 gr. of 700x? what wad?

Be sure to throw 10 powder charges and weigh and average them anyway.

Before removable bushings were used, each shot payload and powder charge had different bars; Good in that you never had to worry about anything once you found one you liked. Bad in that there was no other way to experiment with loads except buying a whole new bar. Note the price: $3.50.

I'll use the top one in the first of 243winxb's pics as an example:
Bar # Dram Eq. Shot load Powder charge (gr.) Powder type Hull length Wad
OH 2/34 1 1/8 oz. 22.8 Win. 473AA 2 3/4" Plastic unit (Usually WAA-12) If there were a number here, it would be fiber wad height in inches.

That was a trip down memory lane!

Would anyone be kind enough to explain?

The 3 bars on the bottom are stamped. OH, 11, & O. These are the old type listed on the chart. They drop fixed amounts of shot & powder.
The other 4 are newer & use powder bushings.

The above powder charges are outdated. Use modern data.

Thanks for sharing the old chart. You gottalove the 20ga chart that allows 16ga light loads for use as 20ga game loads. I still use the 16ga 2H bar and herco powder for game loads. Works then and still does today.
