Does Ruger still make the Mini 30 in this configuration?

Ruger folding stock Mini 30 Tactical model 5853. I know that this model is in current production with a one-piece standard synthetic stock without all of the Picatinny rails and pistol grip but I can not find a listing for the Mini 30 in this configuration. The Mini 14 in this configuration, Model 5888, is listed but not the Mini 30. Thanks

Argh!! My eyes are bleeding! Why, why would you post that!?

I need bleach, and a priest. 😉
I have both the Mini-14 & Mini-30 in this configuration and like the set up as is. They both came from Ruger as pictured. The stocks on both are ATI. I am just curious if they still make the Mini-30 in this configuration. Both are new in the box and have not had a round in the chamber since leaving Ruger.

I bought a Mini 14 primarily because it doesn't have the freakout characteristics of my ARs and AKs. This would defeat that reason. I'm always of the option that people should buy/modify whatever firearms float their boat. If I don't like them, I don't buy them.

why didn't you call ruger and ask them?

If it's not on Ruger's website under Mini-Thirty then they don't make that configuration.

There are "dealer exclusives" that pop up from time to time where a large dealer convinces Ruger to make a run of a particular spec sheet.

But I highly doubt a dealer will request a run on that configuration, in today's day and age.

I don't think they still make it but really all it is is the regular one in an ATI Strikeforce stock anyways - you can set one up that way easily enough.

Personally if you want a folding stock Ruger Mini the Samson A-TM looks MUCH better IMO:

Now that is a Ruger Mini of a "different" configuration that would sell nowadays. Those are handy Mini's for their stowability, especially if one lopped one down to 12" or so and SBR'd it. Got to know one's market.

Got to love the A-Team and their lack of ability to hit anything with effect while spraying copious amounts of lead down range.
