before hitting the reply button and making this a political thread which it is NOT meant to be.... Trump recently said he is against "all gun free zones" I agree 100% with this statement especially with the massacres of our unarmed "armed" forces... but this article states that the Donald's own properties do not allow even concealed carry. http://concealednation.org/2015/08/op-ed-if-trump-favors-gun-free-zones-start-with-his-own-hotels/

HERE IS THE QUESTION: HAS ANYONE HERE EVER VISITED A TRUMP PROPERTY AND SEEN IF THEY ARE INFACT A GUN-FREE ZONE?

He is a used car salesman.... he says what you want to hear.

No government experience, no military experience. Just making real estate deals.

Been bankrupt several times leaving investors holding the bag. And less experience than Obama has at the same point.

He is bad news. He talks the talk but he will sell you out in the 'deal'.

Please answer the stated question... my point is not to make this a political thread and get closed.

I'm with Deaf. He's a businessman, not a politician. Those are only a stones throw from lawyers making that collection the professional liar trifecta. I did in fact go through a trump property in Atlantic City which was posted like crazy, but that was probably more Jersey than Trump.

OK, to keep this non political, he has many properties that require the signs, by state or local ordinances The same as my local Gov't offices. The Sheriff and County Judge are pro-gun, but the law requires the gun free zone signs. The local Utility company and bank also have them, even though the employees are known to be pro-gun. Sometimes the law trumps (no pun untended) what we wish if we are going to do business there. Yes, I carry, but I take it off when I go in the court house. That's just the way it is.

Trump just got a nice rifle during one of his recent speeches... I think in Kentucky or Tennessee... I don't remember which one and he does have a NYC concealed carry permit... I don't think he follows the gun free signs on his properties

Only 50k or so people have CCW permits in NYC. You have got to be well connected.

I have no doubt Trump is anti-gun. No doubt at all.

Concealed carry permit? Where did you hear that? What he said in his interview some time ago was that he had a permit to own a gun. OWN. That's NYC for you. His supporters heard permit, and automatically assume he has a concealed carry permit, and that he actually carries like he's Ted Nugent in a business suit and a bad hair piece.

Trump is what he wants you to think he is as it supports him. He's a salesman. He does bring up a lot of good points that the rest of the GOP is silent on, which is one good thing about him, but I doubt Trump is a major supporter of the Second Amendment.

I've never been to any of his properties, but would assume his properties follow local and federal laws regarding guns. If anyone can show me different, please do.

I was at trump castle in the eighties on business and do not recall any no gun signs. I did see the Don but he was surrounded by a small entourage of very large men. If he did carry it would be pointless. Too much meat between you and him to matter. I suspect that his long term ny/nj and elitist lifestyle skews his view of the 2a. He might be sincere and really believe he is a 2a gun guy just like you and boxer and bloomberg. After all, they all own guns and support their armed guards. He might also think he is a car guy just like you and me but I suspect his garage has more Bentleys than Mustangs. The problem is that although they use words we know, what they are saying is not what we are hearing. That works to their advantage before election and typically results in you thinking they lied afterwards. Ny/nj elite is his normal. To me, that is as foreign as China. If chinese trump tells you that you will have plenty of food, he might mean rice not steak. He didn't lie, you just assumed we were speaking the same language.

I don't think he is pro gun or anti gun. I see a guy who does what he wants with his properties, but I don't see him advanacing agenda to restrict the rights of others. Kasich has never been pro gun either, but I don't see hijm pushing an anti gun agenda either.

What it all comes down to is that it is foolish to vote for or against any candidate on their personal opinions on issues that will not be on their agenda, and i can't see any of the republican candidates pushing a gun control, agenda, or abusing the Justice department as the current administration has. I believe every one of the current Democrat candaites have expressed a desire to push such an agenda, including Sanders from pro-gun Vermont.

We may be failing to understand the legal and insurance requirements placed upon doing business in New York, New Jersey or other less gun friendly states.
Imagine doing business there and your insurance company says "Put up the signs or your premiums are going up 500%"?
Imagine doing business there and the State saying "No Gun Free Zone sing no business license"?
The point being that no matter what you might personally believe, when you do business in these states, you are at their mercy.

The OP has asked more than once to not make this political and get his thread closed.

He asked 1 question.
