don't shoot bigfoot

You guys realize bigfoot/sasquatch/yeti is a protected species in many places... it's ILLEGAL to hunt or trap one.

Real or not, it kind of makes the point moot.

Smallish heads, no necks to speak of

No choice but COM shot. Then, you better have a trailer or pick-up truck 'cause they stink like Yellow Bastard from Sin City.

Not to get religious on y'all or anything, but has anyone considered the possibility that IF bigfoot does exist he might be a supernatural being? Not like werewolves; more like chupacabras, UFO's, and aliens.

People DO see these things, and it seems strange that encounters are usually not conducive to photographic/video capture. Liars? Maybe, but I have read two non-fiction books that had nothing to do with Bigfoot, but mentioned bigfoot encounters that were relevant to the story. One is The Long Walk by Slavomir Rawicz, which is about the author's escape from a Siberian concentration camp in 1941. Excellent read. When he and his companions saw these two creatures they had no idea what they were and had never heard the names Bigfoot or Sasquatch (and did not learn of them until years later). This encounter with these obstinate creatures forced the escapees to take a precarious detour which resulted in one man falling to his death.

The other book is called Arctic Homestead by Norma Cobb and Charles W. Sasser. This is the true story, which began in 1973, of the Cobb family's struggles to 'prove out' the land they obtained in Alaska through The U.S. Homestead Act of 1862. Norma and Lester Cobb are still living in Alaska and operate the Lost Creek Ranch of Minook Valley near Manley Hot Springs. Les is an outfitter and hunting/fishing guide. They have a website, Alaska's Arctic Wildlife, at www.alaskaaw.com. Their family of seven endured and witnessed many incredible things that needn't be embellished. lying about an encounter (repeated encounters, actually) with Bigfoot (aka the Bush man or the Hairy man) would jeopardize the integrity of her entire tale. They, too, did not know what they had encountered and, as the first encounter was had by their oldest son, they doubted that he had seen anything but a bear. This changed as the other Cobbs and their neighbors had their own experiences with the "Hairy man".

I do not wish to inspire any sort of theological discussion or argument nor do I wish to bore anyone with details, but FWIW, I believe that Bigfoot, Aliens, and UFO's (all of which share certain characteristics other than, but including, an ability to typically avoid leaving documentable evidence) are spiritual entities that, through some mechanism, do appear in real physical form but whose true nature and power are demonically derived. By demonically derived I mean of or relating to demons, and/or the fallen angels under Satan's leadership. There, I said it. Too much information?
