a double gun in 2 bore ! i had read a artical years back on hunter in africa that used a two bore and he said everytime he pulled the trigger his ears would bleed and it smack his face and spin him around (quite painful!)

his work is not to be questioned and awesome ! my only concern is for a gun that is going to cost me 100,000 i would expect some real fancy grade wood and it looks like beachwood. fancy english walnut would have been nice

I'd want sweetgum or sycamore for the stock.
The interlocking grain is very split resistant.
Split resistant is you best friend with a beast like that.

Since Stolzer made it, I'm sure he made it of something split resistant.
I used to follow his posts on the home gunsmithing forum.
He's an amazingly talented man.

I'd like to have that 2 bore muzzle loading pistol he made.
Talk about a "wrist twister".

After watching the video of firing two shots fromthe 2 bore boxlock rifle, all I can say is, OUCH, MOMMY!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to see a T Rex that could stand up to that double deuce.

It says that the stock is sugar maple, that ought to be plenty tough.
That's just the gun to have if the Graboids are breaking into your rec room...
