A friend was assured by a contact that he had fired an AR configured to fire three shots on the pull - like the original M4 burst trigger - AND three shots on the release; six shots per go. We were doubtful, but the contact is the local big shot Karate Master over my friend's classes, so he couldn't exactly say anything contrary. Is there any such thing out there? It would of course be NFA.

Would that not qualify as a post 86 "machinegun" under their rules, and hence unobtainium for us mere lowly civilians?

Let’s assume for hot second that this is fantasy land and everything said was correct and factual. This leads us to the question of WHY!!!!!??????

If you are able to own full auto just well…….full auto. It’s safer and more reliable.
If you don’t care about those pesky laws and things, again just well……..full auto. It’s not going to be any more illegal I. The eyes of the law so again might as well go the safer more reliable route.

Now as we leave fantasy land………he probably shot a binary trigger thing with a shot on pull and release and shot it in such a way to believe he was running triples. This is the most plausible thing.

Or hey maybe meth heads gonna meth head i dunno. :)

I remember these from the '80's.

They had little gatling style crank triggers too, that clamped to the trigger guard.

Thinking it was a binary trigger as well.

(Shhh!! One can bump-fire their AR by hooking a shooting-hand thumb in a belt loop and pushing forward while the gun is held at the hip.)

(But don’t tell Biden, or belt loops will be banned!)

Stay safe.

Nothing good could come from this, and the definition of 'good' is debatable.
