Driver stops gun threat - with his truck!

I wonder if the "terroristic threats" statute was on the books pre-9/11 and if it's penalty carries the weight it might had it been adopted post 9/11.

Here in NE "Making a terroristic threat" is a common charge that's added onto many assault situations. In our state uttering "I'm going to kill you if you tell the cops/testify/touch my dope/kick my dog/etc" is covered under "Making a terroristic threat". It has nothing to do with the other vernacular "terrorism" per se.
