Dry fire practice with a Glock 25?

This is the Glock chambered for 380 ACP, not available in the States. Although it's a 380 it has a floating barrel like all other Glocks.

I know that Glocks can be dry fired, and that they have to be dry fired before they can be broken down. I've also read that lots of dry firing practice is recommended for mastery of the trigger and familiarity with the grip angle.

Am I right in thinking that a Glock can be dry fired repeatedly without damage, or should I use snap caps for dry firing practice sessions? I've got some 380 snap caps (can't remember whether they're Tipton or Pachmayr) but have never had occasion to use them.

When I dry fire my pistol before disassembly the magazine is already out. Can the gun be dry fired with an empty magazine in the grip?

I'd appreciate your advice.

I have dry fired my g21 thousands of times. It wont hurt it. And yes, it will dry fire with an empty mag in it.

If you take the slide out of battery enought to insert a folded piece of cardboard between the barrel and slide, you can pull the trigger and it will reset itself. While it is not the same as the actual trigger pull, it is close enough the breaking point to allow for dry fire practice without having to rack the slide to recock every time.
