Anybody ever have to use them ?
Experience ?

So far they want me to ship to and from my local FFL. Outgoing $30 plus shipping $20-30. Incoming with background check for my gun $40
They will only return ship to my FFL for $30.
My FFL questions why FFL shipping for a warranty claim.
I'm looking at $130 for an evaluation.

Sorry, maybe I'm not understanding something. Your FFL wants to do a background check to give your gun back to you? That makes no sense.

I have no experience with EAA warranty service, but SIG and Ruger have both sent me shipping labels and had FedEx pick up the gun from my house and return it to me at my house, addressee signature required. No FFL, no shipping fees

That's why he questioned him shipping it.
He receives it and will sign it in and out of his book for record keeping. Not gonna just hand someone a gun shipped to him. I understand that and don't have a problem with that.

Is it an eaa USA to and from? If eaa is like this then I'll never buy any of their products. Hopefully this will get remedied without costing you money......even $20 is a joke! It wouldn't make sense in blue states, but wouldn't put it past them? Does your ffl agree with it or question it on another background check. I guess it makes sense on the need to ship from and be received by the same ffl you purchased it from, but shouldn't cost again and another 4473.

MCP35 ( Browning HP knock off )
Don't get me wrong I like the gun. Just needs to hit where pointed.
Seems like other companies that offer knockoffs have had issues (not necessarily the same as you've experienced) and didn't have the strange charges for warrantee repairs.

A few years ago I purchased one of their compact 10mm handguns. The magazines held 12 rounds and I could at best load 9. When I was finally able to reach their customer service I was told there was no way there was an issue with their magazines and they refused to help. With so many manufacturers to choose from that stand behind their products I haven't considered purchasing one of their guns since that experience.

I have asked EAA if they will just do a barrel exchange.
Waitng for reply.
Not going to happen! They wouldn’t even sell me a firing pin! They were more than happy to sell me a 45 acp to 40 S&W conversion though..
I could see it if there we’re replacing the whole gun, but it is already yours and you should be able to send and receive directly without any ffl involved at all! I have returned both Springfield and Taurus handguns like toivo mentioned. They sent a return label, and the gun was sent directly back to me within a week, a few years back I had a Rossi recall, they sent a return label and a few weeks notified me that it was not repairable with a couple options. One was a brand new
similar Taurus pistol. That had to go through an ffl since it was a new gun. The dealer I originally bought it from wanted $10 more to run it through than another guy just down the street. I thought he should do it for free, no background check, I have concealed carry permit so no background check and it’s about a 90 second process to the paperwork. Oh well, there’s a lot of this requirement that is open to personal definition, most of which is about CYA and getting your money into their pockets.

EAA has terrible warranty service.
EXAMPLE: I have a Witness .45 that locks the slide back with rounds still in the magazine. I called and talked to their "gunsmith".
With no mention by either of us about what ammo I was using, he told me that it was my fault for using hot handloads.
Then he hung up on me.
I tried several times to talk to someone else about this issue with no better results.
Even though EAA is 20 minutes away, they won't allow me to bring the gun in and they won't send me a mailing label, because they say it's not covered by the warranty.
I sold my 9mm and .38 Super Witnesses, but I'm stuck with the .45. It sits in the safe, unfired for years.
And don't try to tell me I should replace certain parts. I replaced everything including springs.
Gun shops around here won't deal with EAA. They've gotten tired fighting with them over warranty problems.
Avoid EAA.

Unfortunately I've been dealing with bhspringsolutions trying to get better trigger pull. Their CS is non existed. Bought a spring upgrade kit, can't get any reply to questions. They have great videos and a lot on Facebook, just won't reply.

OK -- I think I get it. Once it goes in his book, it can't come out again without a 4473, something like that?

Tanfoglio Warranty

I would then contact them in Italy, tell them the problem. Their site is under "Contact Us"

Doesn't look good!

Ridiculous unless they are asking to ship overseas. S&W sent me a label, put it in box and dropped off at Fedex. Sent it back to me at my house Signature required with ID. Easy peasy. Something ain't right. Seems like they don't want to deal with it?
