Beautiful Colts, but ain't they all!!! Reputed? I take it that provenance is still in dispute by some experts.

I wish they would make a movie about Virgil Earp the real leader of that clan.

I used the term "reputed" to protect myself from some expert coming in and saying these could not possibly be correct! I'm not in a position to debate the history, just thought folks would enjoy looking at them as they are presently displayed.
 
Good point J-Bar. There are always the 'Expert' out there lurking and itchin-at-the-bit to get their two cents in.
 
College of the Ozarks, AKA "Hard Work U" is a place that is unique in modern education. We were there last year, had a phenomenal lunch, and took in an exhibition that they had of Vietnam era militaria.

Seeing your post, I remembered taking a photo of the Spencer rifle that Lincoln shot while at the Museum of American History and posted it. It's in the rifle section.

They say imitation is the purest form of flattery right? :)
