Hi guys. Sorry about the header message, I didnt spell check.

I went out and shot a custom barrel in 6TCU last night. 21"
Heavy bull taper.

I shot three different bullets: Berger 88 gr VLD, flat base.
Berger 68 gr. MEF Varmint bullet
Hornady 87 gr. BTHP.

The 88's shot into just over 1.25"(5shots) 2790fps
The 68's shot into .85"(5shots) 3150fps
The Hornady 87's shot into .258", and .255"! 2797fps

Wow! I didnt expect that rifle to shoot like that!
I am going to check the hornady's out again, to confirm the load.
The SD was at 9.7fps.
This barrel likes the standard Tangent ogive!

Once this load is proved over three different range sessions, I will see how far it will stay tight.

I did notice that slight variations in my gun control technique really affects this rifles point of impact!
If I move the sand bags slightly to align myself, the point of aim can change as much as 3/4"! The group stays the same though.
Talk about routine disipline! Lol! I guess its all in learning what a rifle likes.

I just thought you guys might like to hear of these results.
