Buyer pays, price of item, shipping fees if it applies, credit card fee if it applies typically 2% to 4%, state sales tax if it applies, that is all the buyer should pay except the buyer may pay a transfer fee where ever the item is shipped to if it applies.

I just made my first Gunbroker deal this last week. I thought there was a 1% Gunbroker fee but the seller didn't .include it. He just charged me the bid price + shipping fee. Because Montana has no sales tax and West Virginia doesn't charge and out-of-state sales tax, the only other fee is the ffl. I mailed the seller a USPS money order to avoid the credit card fee. Paying taxes is dependent on which states are involved in the transaction.

Only the seller pays the Gunbroker fee. It's a percentage of the sales price. I've been using GB for many many years. I like older classic out of production guns. I'd have to wait a lifetime for the guns I've bought on GB to show up at a local shop or gun show.

Agree, the Gun Broker and Guns International auctions seem way better than local gun shows for buying guns. Ammo on the other hand seems better here.
